“Every year counts” is an IKEA in store experience that visually represents the company footprint from their Cilmate Report published in 2021

Climate change has been posing risks to businesses worldwide, however many companies do not identify the benefits that may arise from using climate change as an opportunity to build their brand in a positive manner. “Every year counts” is seen as a model tool to bring behaviour change to consumers, and a way to achieve a companies growth. From the amount of data found in the IKEA FY21 it has been decided to create “Every year counts” in two data visualisations, these two designs complete each other and provide a better understanding of the data together. These two data visualisations are intended to be displayed in IKEA stores and online and printed catalogs, however they mainly function as an immersive experience.
